Norman M. Goldfarb is managing director of Portolo. Previously, he was chief collaboration officer of WCG Clinical, founded and led the MAGI conferences, and published the Journal of Clinical Research Best Practices. He is also executive director of the Site Council, which has published the Site Council Bill of Rights to promote healthy sponsor and CRO relationships with healthy sites; executive director of the Clinical Research Interoperability Standards Initiative (CRISI), which is developing a library of standard APIs so clinical research software applications can easily share data and documents; and executive director of the Clinical Study Diversity Score Project (CSDS), which is developing methods to calculate a single comparable and actionable score for each clinical study.
